and now: A Disjointed Account

ok i went with my family to switzerland first
lots of postcard scenery there
after that i went by myself to go meet my friends in rome
i almost couldnt find marc cause his hp screwed up haha
so i spent an hour and a half wandering around the huge train station in rome before i finally found him by chance
haha
we stayed in rome for 5 days
it was super freaking hot there
vatican was quite interesting cause they had like billions of sculptures and stuff
really ostentatious

mm then after rome was florence, just a day trip
i liked it cause there were a lot of nice narrow streets haha
and not so many tourists

after florence we went to venice for 2 days
which was full of tourists -.-
and i spent 12 euros doing laundry
cause i wasted 4 euros starting the wrong dryer
but its really funny watching your clothes go round and round.
anyway in italy we had lots of gelato of course

then was vienna, which was my favourite i think
mostly cause of the weather and the parks
i went to one to sketch; the scans are still on my com
of course there were lots of castles and stuff, but they weren't so interesting,
but tatt will beg to differ

we also went on a daytrip to bratislava, which was pretty cool.
that's in slovakia - nice smallish town, even though it's the capital.
vienna was like 4 days, then we took the sleeper to munich.

munich itself wasn't so interesting, except that all the old looking buildings weren't really old cause the city got blown up during ww2 so everything's reconstructed
anyway in munich we went to dachau and berteschgaden, where hitler's bunker and eagle's nest was
but it rained both times, so we didnt go up to the eagle's nest
the view is supposed to be nice there
so that was munich or so.

last stop was paris for 5 days
we met up with zhi and paul there
zhi was like our translator haha
so he took us to like nice frenchy places to eat and stuff
and nice parks too

so yeah that's about it
